Breakthrough Creative Thinking

Introduction
In today’s highly competitive environment, creative thinking has become a personal and corporate imperative. Careers depend on them. The course teaches how you can develop new opportunities by tapping into your own creative potential. It focusses on liberating the brain by developing right brain skills for turning communication problems into opportunities through an intense series of problem-solving sessions. Through active participation the candidate learns how to make the most of their own inner resources. It is ideally suited to people in creative industries, or anyone wishing to unlock their creative potential. It will also appeal to those who wish to inject innovation and creativity into more sterile business environments.

This unit is essential for:

  • Developing a culture of creativity in any dynamic business environment

Teaching Strategies
This unit is delivered through a series of 6 x 3hrs evening sessions between 6:30pm – 9:30pm and a 1hr tutorial each week.  Teaching is via a unique mix of lectures, problem solving brainstorming exercises and workshops supported by group tutorials.  Participants will be required to undertake prescribed assignment work including experimental projects each week. 

Specialist Facilities and Equipment
This unit will be delivered via projector and white board in a lecture classroom; no specialist materials are required except for right brain engagement.

Assessment
Assessment will be conducted by way of weekly assignments.  Participants will receive written weekly assessment reports detailing their progress.
