Course 1 - Portraiture
This course is delivered over 8 weeks and includes a full Saturday location shooting workshop with Males and Female models. Here participants will undertake studies in the complex skills of posing and lighting males and females, couples, groups and children with natural light, flash and reflectors. The course is a mix of theory and practice and supported by practical shoots to reinforce the theory techniques. Participants receive comprehensive notes and ongoing support through required assignment work. Portraiture course is an excellent program for intermediate level photographers who wish to advance their skills with quality portraiture and begin understanding successful approaches to this genre. Each participant has access to our online learning portal to join chats, forums, up-coming events and share their images with students in Australia and around the world.
Course 2 - Introduction to Studio
Course 2 provides the perfect foundation for participants who are looking to advance their photography into studio practice. This 6 week program introduces participants to the photographic studio, cyclorama, studio lights, OHS and light modifiers and metering techniques. With the push toward hiring of studio facilities increasing, this course is essential for individuals who need to know the terminology, light pack and modifying abilities and what and when to use studio equipment. Course 2 is a fully practical course with hands on instruction. At the completion of this course participants will be able to set up their own studio, hire professional studio equipment and assist studio photographers successfully.
